Ziel: Sichtbarmachung und Vernetzung der Hörder Kunstszene

Worum geht es?

Hörder Artistsist ein künstlerisch-dokumentarisches Porträtprojekt, das ca. 30-40* in Hörde lebende und/oder arbeitende Bildende Künstler*innenvorstellt.
Jede teilnehmende Person wird durch ein individuelles Porträt von Linn Schiffmann dargestellt – eine Verbindung aus Fotografie und Gouache-Malerei, in der Mensch und Stadtteil visuell ineinanderfließen.

Das Ergebnis wird als Buchpublikation mit ISBN über Books on Demand (BoD)veröffentlicht und öffentlich präsentiert (z.B. Hörder Kultursommer 2026.)

Was wird gezeigt?

Jede*r Künstler*in wird im Buch auf 4 bis 6 Seiten vorgestellt.
Darin enthalten sind:
- ein Porträt (von Linn Schiffmann gemalt)
- 1–2 Fotos eigener Kunstwerke
- ein Interview über die eigene Kunst und die Verbindung zu Hörde
- Kontaktinformationen z.B. Homepage, Social Media Profil, Emailadresse

*Bewerben sich mehr als 40 Künstler*innen, behält Linn Schiffmann es sich vor, eine Auswahl zu treffen.

Du möchtest Teil des Projektes sein und dich als Hörder Artist im Buch präsentieren lassen? Dann beachte bitte Folgendes:

Voraussetzungen für Künstler*innen:

- wohnt und/oder hat ein Atelier in Dortmund-Hörde (bezieht sich auf den gesamten Hörder Stadtbezirk: Benninghofen, Benninghofer Mark, Buchholz, Hacheney, Höchsten, Hörde, Holzen, Loh, Niederhofen, Sommerberg, Syburg, Wanne, Wellinghofen und Wichlinghofen)

- war innerhalb der vergangenen 5 Jahre künstlerisch aktiv und öffentlich sichtbar: z.B. Ausstellungen, Kunstmärkte, aktive Social Media Profile, Webseiten (auf der aktuelle Projekte gezeigt werden), Printpublikationen, …

- macht Bildende Kunst z.B. Malerei, Grafik, Fotografie, Bildhauerei, … auch Kunsthandwerk und Tattoo-Artists sind herzlich willkommen, insofern sie originelle Motive/Kunst erschaffen

- hat Zeit für einen individuellen Foto- und Interviewtermin mit Linn in Hörde (im Zeitraum: Dezember 2025 - Ende Februar 2026)

- KEINE KOSTEN FÜR ARTISTS!

- Jede*r Künstler*in erhält zudem ein kostenloses Belegexemplar.


Weiterer Ablauf:

- Wenn du Teil des Projektes werden möchtest, dann schreibe Linn bitte eine Email an info@linnschiffmann.de und erkläre darin kurz, inwieweit du die oben genannten Voraussetzungen erfüllst.
Mach gerne auch schon ein paar Terminvorschläge für einen Foto-/Interviewtermin.

for  the book project:

Hörder Artists

– Portraits of a Vibrant Art Scene

A project by Linn Schiffmann

Project period: December 2025 – July 2026
Location: 44263 Dortmund-Hörde
Goal: Making the Hörde art scene visible and fostering connections within it

What is it about?

Hörder Artistsis an artistic-documentary portrait project presenting around 30–40* visual artists who live and/or work in Hörde.
Each participating person will be portrayed through an individual artwork by Linn Schiffmann – a combination of photography and gouache painting in which the person and the district visually merge.
(See example below)

The final result will be published as a book with an ISBN via Books on Demand (BoD) and presented publicly (e.g., at the Hörder Kultursommer 2026).

What will be shown?

Each artist will be featured on 4 to 6 pages in the book.
These will include:

• a portrait painted by Linn Schiffmann

• 1–2 photos of the artist’s own artworks

• an interview about their art and their connection to Hörde

• contact information such as website, social media profile, email address

*If more than 40 artists apply, Linn Schiffmann reserves the right to make a selection.

Would you like to be part of the project and present yourself as a Hörder Artist in the book? Please note the following:

Requirements for artists:

• You live and/or have a studio in Dortmund-Hörde (refers to the entire Hörde city district: Benninghofen, Benninghofer Mark, Buchholz, Hacheney, Höchsten, Hörde, Holzen, Loh, Niederhofen, Sommerberg, Syburg, Wanne, Wellinghofen, and Wichlinghofen)

• You have been artistically active and publicly visible within the past 5 years, e.g., exhibitions, art markets, active social media profiles, websites showing current projects, print publications, etc.

• You create visual art, such as painting, drawing, photography, sculpture…
  Artisans and tattoo artists are also warmly welcome, provided they create original artwork/motifs.

• You have time for an individual photo and interview appointment with Linn in Hörde (between December 2025 and the end of February 2026).

• NO COSTS FOR ARTISTS!

• Each participating artist will also receive a free copy of the book.

  Feel free to include a few suggested dates for the photo/interview appointment.
