Am Freitag Abend waren Mona Maijs und ich in der Wintergalerie auf dem Westenhellweg in Do-Mitte zu Gast und habe unsere Texte aus der "Das Wunschkabinett"-Anthologie gelesen.
Die Awo hatte uns zu Lesung & Talk eingeladen. Es waren 7 Besucher*innen vor Ort und es wurden die Stühle im Halbkreis zusammengerückt. So entstand ein sehr intimer Raum, indem wir unsere queeren Utopie-Texte lasen und anschließend ins Gespräch über Inspiration und die aktuelle Lage von LGBTQIA+-Rechten kamen.
Kleines Highlight für mich: unser Lesethron hatte die gleiche Farbe wie das Cover der Anthologie!
On Friday evening, Mona Maijs and I were guests at the Wintergalerie on Westenhellweg in Dortmund city center, where we read our texts from the “Das Wunschkabinett” anthology.
We had been invited by AWO for a reading and discussion. There were seven attendees, and the chairs were arranged in a semicircle, creating a very intimate setting in which we shared our queer utopian texts. Afterwards, we talked about our inspirations and the current state of LGBTQIA+ rights.
A small personal highlight: our reading throne was the same color as the anthology’s cover!
