Ich bin Initiator*in und Herausgeber*in der Anthologie

QUEER-NunRedenWir.

Über das Projekt:

Das Projekt „QUEER - NunRedenWir“ gibt queeren Schriftsteller*innen aus NRW die Möglichkeit, eigene Lebenserfahrungen/Emotionen, die im Zusammenhang mit ihrer Zugehörigkeit zur LGBTQIA+ Community stehen, in Texten auszudrücken.

Aus Kurzgeschichten und Gedichten entsteht in 2023 ein Erzählband (Anthologie), der eine große Bandbreite der queeren Community aus Nordrhein-Westfalen sichtbar und erlesbar macht.

Zielgruppe, dh. Leser*innen, dieser Anthologie ist aber nicht nur die queere Community selbst, sondern auch all diejenigen, die bisher wenig mit LGBTQIA+ in Berührung gekommen sind. Für sie wird die Anthologie mit einem Glossar ausgestattet, in welchem wichtige Begriffe aus der Community erklärt werden.

Als zweiter Schritt wird die Anthologie in 2024 bei 5 Lesungen an 5 verschiedenen Orten in NRW vorgestellt. Begleitet wird jede Lesung von einer Ausstellung (Bildende Kunst) mit Thema "Transidentität".

Das Projekt will aber nicht nur queere Personen sichtbarer machen, sondern auch queeren Schriftsteller*innen die Möglichkeit geben, für ein angemessenes Honorar zu arbeiten. So wird jeder Textbeitrag, der es in die Anthologie schafft, mit einem Honorar abgegolten.
Autor*innen, die ihre Texte bei einer der Lesungen vortragen, bekommen ein entsprechendes Lesehonorar, das sich an der Honorarempfehlung des VS-NRW orientiert. Zudem werden alle Gewinne aus Buchverkäufen gleichmäßig auf die beteiligten Autor*innen aufgeteilt.

Ermöglicht wird das Projekt "Queer - NunRedenWir" durch die Förderung "Diversitätsfonds" des Landes NRW.

About the project:

The "QUEER - NunRedenWir" project gives queer writers from North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) the opportunity to express their own life experiences/emotions related to their membership in the LGBTQIA+ community in texts.

In 2023, short stories and poems will be combined into a collection of stories (anthology) that will make a wide range of the queer community from NRW visible and readable.

Target audience, ie. Readers, for this anthology is not only the queer community itself, but also all those who have had little contact with LGBTQIA+ so far. For them, the anthology is provided with a glossary in which important terms from the community are explained.

As a second step, the anthology will be presented in 2024 at 5 readings at 5 different locations in NRW. Each reading is accompanied by an exhibition (fine art) on the subject of "trans identity".

The project not only wants to make queer people more visible, but also give queer writers the opportunity to work for a reasonable fee. Every text contribution that makes it into the anthology is compensated with a fee.

Authors who present their texts at one of the readings receive a corresponding reading fee, which is based on the fee recommendation of the German Writers'Union of NRW. In addition, all profits from book sales are divided equally among the authors involved.
